  • Is there handicap seating?
Yes, we have a section of seating reserved for handicap. It is bleacher style seating, however there is a section next to it where wheel chairs can be parked and additional chairs are available for family members and those with back issues.
  • Where do I park?
Parking for the rodeo will be in the pasture directly across the street from the UGA Livestock Instructional Arena. Parking is free for our paying customers. Rodeo security and University of Georgia Police will be on hand to help direct traffic and assist you while you cross the street. There is additional parking for sponsors and handicap closer to the building. The Great Southland Stampede Rodeo does not provide public transportation to the event. In the incident of bad weather, parking on Thursday and Friday will be at UGA’s softball fields off South Milledge, and parking on Saturday will be at UGA Vet Med or the Intramural Fields (exact location TBA). Buses will be used to transport patrons to and from the parking lot. They will run a continuous loop, so that you will be able to return to your car as you please. Announcements will be made through our EventBrite email capabilities and through our social media pages in the event that we must implement this parking plan.
  • Are weapons or alcohol allowed?
Due to our location being a part of UGA’s Campus, alcohol is prohibited. We do not sell it, and you cannot bring it. If you are caught with alcohol, you will be escorted from the premises without a refund for your ticket purchase. As for weapons, they must be locked away in your vehicles, even if you do have a conceal and carry permit. Again, we are on UGA's Campus and must abide by the rules that are set.
