For over 50 years, the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo has brought together the University of Georgia, the Athens community, and rodeo fans from across the Southeast for an unforgettable tradition. From championship rodeo action to lifelong memories with family and friends, GSSR is an experience unlike any other.

The Great Southland Stampede Rodeo is proudly organized by members of the University of Georgia Block and Bridle. Months of planning, teamwork, and dedication go into producing the nation's largest student-run rodeo while developing the next generation of leaders.
