​More Than a Rodeo

The University of Georgia Block and Bridle Club brings together students who are passionate about agriculture, leadership, and service. Throughout the year, members organize livestock events, fundraisers, professional-development opportunities and community outreach programs.

The club's largest undertaking is the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo- an event planned and operated entirely by UGA students. Through GSSR, members gain hands-on experience in event management, marketing, sponsorships, livestock operations, and leadership while continuing a UGA tradition.

 The University of Georgia Block and Bridle Club is a member of the National Block and Bridle Club.​​
